Spine surgery makes this one of the more focused names in robotic orthopedics.
Globus Medical, Inc. (NYSE:GMED) sells musculoskeletal products and technology used in spine care, including its Excelsius robotic surgery ecosystem. Rather than treating the robot as a stand-alone attraction, the investment case rests on how imaging, navigation, robotics and implants work together in a surgeon’s workflow.
The company reported 6% overall revenue growth in the second quarter of 2026, or 9% excluding Nevro, with gains in its U.S. and international spine businesses. In September, Globus Medical, Inc. (NYSE: GMED) also announced a European CE mark for its Excelsius3D imaging system. That approval expands the tools around its surgical technology platform; it should not be mistaken for proof that every new system will win hospital orders.
Globus Medical, Inc. (NYSE: GMED) ranks sixth because it combines a real spine business with a clear robotics strategy. Investors still need to judge the whole company, including implant demand and competition, rather than value it solely as a robot maker.
